How To Set a Menu Item as Unavailable
Setting a menu item as 'Unavailable' means the customer will still be able to see the item but they will not be able to order the item.
For customers, a menu item set as 'Unavailable' will appear greyed out with a red diagonal 'Unavailable' banner across it. This setting can be great if you are only temporarily out of an item and want to make sure your customers know that you will offer it again in the future.
In your Online Ordering Console, you can set a menu item as unavailable by selecting "Restaurant Manager" from the main menu, and then selecting "Menu Items" under the "MENU SETTINGS" heading.
Locate the menu item you wish to make unavailable and click the green Shown button next to it.
The button will turn grey and say Unavailable. If you want to make the item available again in the future, click the Unavailable button, and select the Shown option
