How can I Set Holiday Hours Or Close My Store for The Day?

You can use the Holiday Hours to close your online ordering for specific dates and/or times. Below are different options you can apply to your account to help you close for any reason you may need.

To do this, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to your account as a manager or employee.

2. Click on Enable/Disable Ordering.

3. Next you can choose to close immediately for a set amount of time or indefinitely. Click on Close ordering button to save. 

If you would like to disable your ordering for a future date or change the availability for only certain order types, please click on the Holiday hours/Advanced settings button.


TO CLOSE ORDERING FOR THE ENTIRE DAY OR FOR THE REST OF THE DAY:

4. On the Closed Type drop down select Holiday Hours & Choose the Date you wish to close.

5. Next, check the box for Closed All Day. 

6. The Order Type can stay as ALL, unless you are going to have different hours for Pickup vs Delivery. Note: it will only apply to what you actually use for the account.

7. Click the Save This Information button on the bottom right.

Follow these steps for each day you will be closed and the system will automatically re-open on the next available business day for your restaurant.


TO CLOSE FOR SPECIFIC HOURS:

This can be useful to to close your store early or set specific hours for the whole day that are different than usual.

4.  On the Closed Type drop down select Holiday Hours & Choose the Date you with to close. 

5. Then select your Hours of Availability and be sure to uncheck closed all day. Note: You are entering the hours that you are open. If you are open only 10 am - 3 pm, then enter those hours.

6. For Order Type, usually select All, unless you are going to have different hours for Pickup vs Delivery.

7. Click the Save This Information button on the bottom right.

Follow these steps for each day you will be open different hours and the system will automatically return to normal hours on the next available business day for your restaurant.


TO CLOSE ORDERING FOR A YEARLY HOLIDAY:

4. On the Closed Type drop down select Holiday Hours and choose Named Holiday. Then select the holiday you wish to close for. Note: By default this will repeat each year.

5. Next, if you are open part of the day enter your Hours of Availability and be sure to uncheck closed all day.  If you are closed for the entire day, check the box for Closed All Day.

6. The Order Type can stay as ALL, unless you are going to have different hours for Pickup vs Delivery.

7. Click the Save This Information button on the bottom right.

Follow these steps for each holiday you will be closed and the system will automatically re-open on the next available business day for your restaurant. Each year you will automatically be closed for the same holiday. 


TO CLOSE ORDERING FOR A FLOATING HOLIDAY:

4. On the Closed Type drop down select Holiday Hours & Choose Floating Holiday. Here you can enter your own custom date, selecting which week of the month the floating holiday occurs, the day of the week, and the month. Note: You can select the box to have the event repeat each year.

5. Next, if you are open part of the day enter your Hours of Availability and be sure to uncheck closed all day.  If you are closed for the entire day, check the box for Closed All Day.

6. The Order Type can stay as ALL, unless you are going to have different hours for Pickup vs Delivery.

7. Click the Save This Information button on the bottom right.

Follow these steps for each floating holiday you will be closed and the system will automatically re-open on the next available business day for your restaurant.
