How do I connect a Star printer to an iPad/iPhone with the Manager App?
This article will show you how to connect your Star Micronics receipt printer to the Manager App for order printing.
1. Login to the Manager App on your iPad or iPhone.
2. From the left main menu, select Settings
3. In the right column, locate the section “Star Micronics”
4. If your printer is listed under "Print orders to:", tap the button to the left of the printer's name to enable it. Make sure to tap the "Save" button when finished.
5. If you see the text "No printers available, search for your printer by tapping the dark grey search button within the "Star Micronics" section.
6. After your printer is detected, tap the button to the left of the printer's name to enable it. Make sure to tap the "Save" button when finished.
7. Orders will auto-print if they are within the time frame selected in the “Notify for new orders due” setting.
8. You can also manually print receipts in the order’s top right menu. Tap on the "Actions" drop-down menu, and select "Print receipt."
